After the eventful (and wet) couple of days, this morning started out brilliantly. Not a cloud in the sky and a nice quartering breeze. It didn't take long, however, for this wind to completely disappear, and since about half past 7 this morning I have been becalmed. It should giveme some time to tidy up a bit, and maybe even climb the mast to retrieve the spare halyard. But there is still quite some sea running (about 2 meters from various directions), and the boat is shaking violently. I I will prepare all the climbing gear and wait for a little wind to come that will stabilize the boat. And I will definitely wear my styrofoam bicycle type crash helmet, brought for occasions as this.
